MAPIDE
MAPIDE configuration and programming
MAPIDE software is designed and implemented to configure the MAPCS system structure and to program fieldbus controllers in an appropriate environment based on function blocks. All facilities required for MAPCS hardware configuration have been provided in MAPIDE software. The hardware components such as racks, cards, and channels can be added, removed, and configured using this software. All the properties and settings of MPU modules and analog, digital, or HART inputs/outputs are observable and changeable. This software includes a perfect library of Foundation Fieldbus instrumentation tools along with the function blocks that are supported by them.
Accordingly, Fieldbus H1 tools are fully configured using advanced EDDL capabilities. It is possible to define control strategies using the most perfect collection of standard Fieldbus function blocks as well as Flexible function blocks. Flexible function blocks can be programmed concerning the IEC 61131-3 standard )SFC, FBD graphic languages as well as ST textual language(. One of the considerable features of MAPIDE is the possibility of simultaneous engineering in big projects, which is applicable through using the project server in the MAPCS system.
Smart Objects are object-oriented structures that integrated various dimensions of automation components and especially useful components in HMI communication software. Using the samples of a Smart Object develops automatically all the graphic features including Faceplate, Symbol, various animations, and related scripts, and provides them for the user. Further, all the changes in the automatically designed main sample are applied to all the similar samples existing in that project and there is no need for changes to be developed by the user
1. Flexible Function Blocks:
The ability to define Flexible Function Block by the use of IEC 61131-3 languages as well as strong graphic and textual editors of Flexible Function Blocks, Structured Text, and SFC (Sequential Function Charts) has been implemented concerning the user’s needs.
2. Scheduling execution of blocks:
In the Schedule section, it is possible to adjust the manner and order of execution of the control program function blocks as well as to schedule the execution of the blocks in manual and automatic form.
3. Offline and online configuration:
The possibility of offline configuration as well as online execution of settings has been provided for the flexible and fieldbus blocks. Further, it is also possible to monitor actual values to execute startup and troubleshooting activities.
4. Comprehensive library:
A comprehensive library uses the Fieldbus devices, standard Fieldbus blocks, as well as EDDL language support to add and identify Fieldbus devices along with support for the Fieldbus blocks in controllers (MPU) and Fieldbus devices.
5. Parameterization and advanced settings:
Parameterization and advanced settings of various types of function blocks are possible using the Property Grid tools including the general block settings as well as the Parameters window to manage all function block parameters.
6. Advanced graphics
The powerful graphic editor can be used for different types of IEC61131-3 programming languages including SFC, and FBD, with a high capacity for checking and debugging the FFB programs.
7. Powerful editors:
The required properties have been provided in the ST Editor such as representing the keywords in color, automatic completion of phrases, and the timely checking of the code to design and implement the codes.
8. Trend display:
It is possible to display Trends in the online format for monitoring desired parameters in a specific period.
9. Smart equipment management:
It is possible to communicate with, monitor, and manage the FF and Hart smart equipment. Further, the Asset Management system can be used to maintain, diagnose, calibrate, and configure Foundation Fieldbus devices.
10. Smart objects:
It is possible to define a label and Smart Object to integrate with MAPVIEW+ software as well as using ready graphic blocks in the HMI system.
11. Configuration information exchange:
It is possible to extract/insert the configuration in MS Excel format to enable the execution and implementation of large projects.
12. Configuration of all components in a unique environment
The possibility of the configuration of all the components of the MAPCS system such as H1 fieldbus devices, gateway modules of Modbus protocol, as well as control algorithms is included together in the Project Explorer section.
